Transaction Guide

This Transaction Guide explains how an e-commerce transaction is concluded through velvetacare.com and the technical steps before and after an order.

1. Steps for Placing an Order

The general order flow is as follows:

1. Select the product and any available product option.
2. Add the product to the cart.
3. Check products, quantities and prices in the cart.
4. Enter delivery and billing information or select existing details.
5. Select an available delivery method and payment method.
6. Check products, quantities, total price, taxes and any delivery costs in the order summary.
7. Access the Pre-information Form and Distance Sales Agreement before payment.
8. Complete the final confirmation/payment step, which clearly states that the order creates a payment obligation.
9. Receipt of the order is confirmed without delay through the Site and through at least one additional electronic communication method, such as email, SMS or telephone.

2. Correcting Data Entry Errors

The user is shown an order summary before confirming the order.

Where fields are technically editable, products/quantities, delivery and billing details, contact information, delivery method and payment selection can be corrected using back/edit controls before completing the order.

After completion, change requests are assessed by customer service according to the transaction's status. Changes may not always be technically possible once dispatch or performance has begun; mandatory consumer rights remain reserved.

3. Contract Retention and Later Access

Velveta retains information, documents and electronic records relating to its e-commerce business and transactions for the period required by legislation.

E-commerce records are retained for 10 years from the date the activity or transaction took place.

Continuous direct access through the user's account to the order-specific Pre-information Form and Distance Sales Agreement is not guaranteed. A copy of a contract or transaction record retained as required by law may be requested through the registered contact address after identity/order verification.

4. Order Confirmation

Receipt of the order is communicated without delay through the e-commerce environment used for the transaction and at least one additional method, such as email, SMS or a phone call.

6. Disputes and Remedies

For consumer transactions, consumers may apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees according to the dispute's nature and current monetary limits; where a lawsuit is required, they may apply to Consumer Courts, taking into account mandatory pre-action mediation under Article 73/A of Law No. 6502.

No additional fees will be charged to completed orders; Rights arising from previous transactions and mandatory legislation are protected. Changes that require notification/acceptance in existing contracts are made with the necessary procedure. If the purpose or legal requirement of data processing changes, the relevant clarification and, if necessary, new consent process are carried out before starting the changed processing.
